2009-February 7th. 6-Hour figure drawing demonstration by Jon DeMartin.
The Jon DeMartin workshop was a huge success. Jon lectured in detail on the principles of structure, anatomy, and light and shadow that artists use in making portrait and figure drawings. He talked in depth about his process as he worked, and fielded questions from students. We are looking forward to this summer, when Jon will teach an intensive three-day figure drawing workshop.

2008 - October 25th. One day 6 hour portrait demonstration by Steven Assael.
Steven Assael, one of the nations leading portrait painters provided an all day demonstration in front of over thirty attentive LIAFA students. The demo was such a great success that Steve agreed to participate in a three day portrait workshop. Join our mailing list to be the first to learn more about events like this.
